I remember vividly meeting A&M to chat about their Wedding and to get to know each other a little before the final booking. They’re two people that just ooooze fun. The laughs didn’t stop all through the consult and I remember them leaving, hoping they’d be back in touch. Well…it worked out 🙂 …and I’m so glad it did.
Every once in a while you meet a couple that is so full of joy and laughter that you can’t imagine they’d ever have a stressful moment. These guys are them!
We started in Woodstock with photography of the bride and her family then moved on to the gorgeous Craigowan Golf Club just outside of Woodstock. I’d never been there before and was blown away at how stunning the property, Ceremony site and dining room was. The course is littered with old growth, massive trees and the Wedding ceremony site is built in front of ruins from an old structure that’s growing ivy and plants around.
Very pretty.
There were several areas on the course to take Wedding photos and family formals so we made good use of the property. They didn’t have a huge Wedding party so there was lots of time to explore picturesque areas on the property for photos of the bride and groom.
When it came time for the entrance into the dining room the decorations were elegant and simple, mimicking the accent colour the bride and groom had chosen. The room is surrounded by windows for lots of natural light and also has a patio directly outside for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Introductions, first dances, laughter, great food and wine. It was a beautiful Wedding and I was thrilled to get a sense of what Craigowan can offer couple getting married. It is a hidden gem for sure! A gem well worth exploring. https://www.craigowan.com/
