This is something that is near and dear to my heart. For a number of years I’ve volunteered to take the photos for CIBC Simcoe’s Run For The Cure and also The Delhi Fashion Show in support of raising funds for Cancer Research. Every year is a new emotional roller coaster and much of the time I am surrounded by a few hundred people I don’t know but it never seems to matter. The emotion is palpable and every moment is flooded with energy, good and bad as we remember those who lost their battle and run with/for those still in battle. I am in my fifth year now of being cancer -free and so whenever I can I will give…and support… run, take photos, walk, raise money, whatever it takes to give back.
