I remember my consultation with Melissa and Joshua last spring because they shared a bunch of really fun and amazing ideas with me for what they wanted to do for their Wedding to really put a personal stamp on it. The big day did not disappoint!! Except…the threat of impending doom ALL day with the weather 🙁 We got past the first hurdle and were able to have the ceremony outside at the gorgeous Piper’s Heath Golf Club in Milton. WOW…stunning property and perfect for Weddings. It was perfect. Warm, not too windy and the dark gray clouds just kept drifting by. Receiving line went well…still no RAIN! I’m thinking we have this in the bag!! It’s not going to rain. We did a bunch of set-ups with the bridal party…THEN one of the staff said, “You’ve got about 8 minutes before it’s a downpour!” Definitely NOT what I wanted to hear. Thank goodness Melissa and Joshua were so willing to brave a few drops!! They were such troopers 🙂 We got some beautiful photos of them and managed to scoot inside just before the BIG downpour. Those dark, ominous clouds actually lent some beautiful drama to the images.
