It’s not that I dislike a studio or studio-look of an image, it has it’s place. I DO believe however that people respond very differently to being photographed depending on the environment they’re in.
My thought is that taking a family to a conservation area, play park or beach and letting them “play” produces much more natural images than photographing them in a studio. Even having the session in the home, with kids in their rooms with their favourite toys creates a much more comfortable setting for them and beautiful, natural images 🙂
