I’ll never forget the day of Tammy & Joe’s Wedding…February 20th, 2016. It was almost 15 degrees outside and we actually did their first look AND Wedding Party photos all outside. Incredible weather! I first met Tammy during a studio session a couple of years ago and we just hit it off. Great sense of humour and a beautiful person. When she called to ask if I was available to be their Wedding Photographer I was thrilled for them and was happy I had the date open. They really wanted to design a day that spoke to the people that they are. It’s a second marriage for both so they wanted it to be very special and focused on their children and close family and friends.
The Cambridge Mill was going to be the spot for the Ceremony and reception so I knew it would be amazing! Their service was in the chapel at dusk and Tammy walked down the aisle to a piper. It was stunning! The chapel was beautifully dim and intimate with glowing yellow light and the blue sky outside fading away. We had talked about her vision for lighting during the ceremony and agreed that the warm, yellowy glow of the chandelier was something she really wanted. It added so much to the intimacy and romance of the ceremony.
As always, the meal was exceptional and their custom made cake-pops and deserts were almost too beautiful to eat! They even had a cigar bar set up after dinner. It was a beautiful Wedding! Here’s a couple of photos from their sneak peek…
